According to the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 447 and 448 dated December 9, 2023, the following days are considered non-working days in 2024:

 

January 1, 2 - New Year's Eve;

 

January 20 - National Day of Mourning;

 

March 8 - Women's Day;

 

March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 - Novruz holiday;

 

April 10, 11 - Ramadan holiday;

 

May 9 - Victory Day over fascism;

 

May 28 - Independence Day;

 

June 15 - National Salvation Day of the Azerbaijani people;

 

June 26 - Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

 

June 16, 17 - Gurban bayramı (Eid);

 

November 8 - Victory Day;

 

November 9 - National Flag Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

 

December 31 - Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis.

 

In 2024, due to the coincidence of weekly rest days with non-working public holidays, January 3, 4, 5; March 25, 26; June 18, 19; November 11 are non-working days of the five-day working week.

 

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 100 dated February 24, 2024, the working day April 12, 2024 and the non-working day April 6, 2024 have been replaced.
