The Commemoration ceremony of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Hungary
On December 12, 2017 the commemoration ceremony dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the death of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Hungary. The event was attended by the students studying in the country as well as the Embassy staff.
At the beginning of the event, a wreath of flowers was laid in front of Heydar Aliyev's bust in the Embassy and the memory of the great leader was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Then, the counselor of the Embassy Zaur Shukurov spoke about Heydar Aliyev's invaluable merits before Azerbaijan and emphasized his historical role in maintaining the independence and strengthening the statehood of Azerbaijan. Zaur Shukurov stated that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev will always live in memory of the Azerbaijani people as founder and savior of modern Azerbaijan, that Heydar Aliyev's heritage will be the subject of researches for many years.
Z.Shukurov noted that the political line established by National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the large-scale, consistent reforms, aimed to the prosperity of our country, have brought its real results and our state has entered a more dynamic stage of development.
Z.Shukurov also spoke about the important role of the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva on the pass of Heydar Aliyev's heritage to future generations, as well as in the promotion of Azerbaijani culture, art and the truths of Azerbaijan in general.
At the end of the event a film dedicated to the merits of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was demonstrated at the Embassy.
