The presentation of the "Huma Gushu" Educational Assistance Fund was held in Budapest
On June 1, a presentation ceremony of the "Huma Gushu" Education Assistance Fund (Fund) was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary in Budapest.
The event was attended by representatives of academic and diplomatic institutions, our compatriots living abroad, Azerbaijani students studying in Budapest, as well as media representatives. The fund was established in order to preserve the memory of Humay Guliyeva and to preserve the values of charity, philanthropy, patriotism, courage and other values important to Humay.
At the event, Tahir Taghizade, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary, gave information about the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary in the field of education, as well as the charitable activities carried out by Azerbaijani intellectuals to support the education of young people. T. Taghizade noted that through the State Program for 2022-2026 implemented by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, young people have the opportunity to study in prestigious higher education institutions abroad.
The event continued with the screening of the film made by Humay's friends, the presentation of the fund's activities, projects and programs by the chairman of the foundation, Shahla Vazirova, the speeches of Humay's friends living in Budapest, and a question-and-answer session.
