Press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the terror act perpetrated in Nice

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in strongest terms condemns the terror act perpetrated in Nice. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives at this terror act and wish for a speedy recovery to the wounded.

The Republic of Azerbaijan, as a country suffering from terrorism, deplores terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The presence of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan among the wounded and killed as a result of this explosion is investigated by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to France via the official Government agencies of this country.

We call on the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who are in France to follow the security measures undertaken by French Government agencies and avoid the public places.
