On the occasion of 25th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide there was an auto march organized in Budapest.
On the occasion of 25th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide, one of the most terrible tragedies in the history of Azerbaijan, there was an event organized in the center of Budapest on February 26, 2017. The representative of Azerbaijan Diaspora and students were gathered in the Heroes Square holding Azerbaijani and Turkish flags, informing people about Khojaly Genocide by distributing photos and brochures to many tourists and locals. The Hungarian society was informed about the cruel atrocities and terrible crimes committed against civilians in Khojaly.
Later on, in order to attract the attention of the Budapest’s residents in these tragic pages of Azerbaijan history there was an auto march organized with consent of the city administration. The cars with Azerbaijan and Turkish flags, posters about the Khojaly tragedy on them were driving in the main streets and squares of the capital around two hours accompanied by police vehicles.
